I’m excited to announce that DocrepoX is now publicly available under the LGPL v3 license! Big-name ECM systems (Microsoft, IBM, Hyland, OpenText) are bloated, complex, and rigid—DocrepoX is built to be the opposite. No vendor lock-in, no unnecessary features, just a simple, powerful document repository that fits your needs.
What DocrepoX Aims to Achieve
DocrepoX is built to make enterprise content management (ECM) simple, efficient, and accessible. The goal is to provide a developer-friendly, SMB-focused alternative to legacy ECM platforms, eliminating high costs, complexity, and restrictive licensing. DocrepoX delivers the core ECM features businesses need—without the excess baggage.
